Buffalo Maritime Center - facing 90 Arthur Street
This is only the middle section of the building which is a whole block long. It was a foundry at one time.

Looking left after entering the door, which is located approximately in the middle of the long building.
The boat on the left is a slightly enlarged version of a Mellonseed skiff.

An authentic Rushton sailing decked canoe.


The Rushton centerboard is an ingenious device.
It feathers together allowing for a very low centerboard case inside the canoe.


The sailng canoe is steered with a tiller connected by a bit of bicycle chain and
wires to a yoke on the rudder head.
