Lion guarding the bridge to the bridge over a creek and the park in which the Mariners Museum is located.
This is the rear entrance. We got confused by the GPS and entered the back way. As it turned out, it was more interesting that way.
This museum displays the stunning Crabtree collection of model ships, and also is noted for its small craft collection.
It also has a great collection of Age of Discovery items as well as a fair amount on the U.S. Navy,
An exhibit on ship sinkings (Titanic etc.) and a collection of local watercraft.
We arrived with only a limited amount of time to visit... so we made the most of it.
