My cousin's house - back of aunt's house in Lebanon, PA
My aunt has a tiny vegetable garden in back, which the groundhogs eat before she gets to harvest.
One of my aunt's neighbors has a large tree. That always amazes me, as nothing where I live is nearly this tall.
My cousin has decidious trees in her back yard which are also taller than anything in my neighborhood in S. Texas.

Yes, this is a mode of transportation commonly used by some, and judging from the price of gasoline there a good one.
We found an exact replacement for our electric hot-pot at the Dutch Country Ace Hdwr. in Myerstown just east of Lebanon.
That was good because it is a very useful piece of equipment.
Using it saves having to use the stove and heat up the inside of the Rpod.

an aunt and cousins - part of mi familia
No, they do not travel by horse and buggy.
On the way out of town we navigated through some smaller roads through beautiful farmland.

We drove East on IH 78 through a corner of New Jersey, then north on US 202 and IH 287.
Near South Nyack, NJ we crossed the Tappan Zee toll bridge
(across a wide spot in the Hudson River) to New York.
Entering New York we took IH 287 Southeast through White Plains
and at Port Chester, NY turned East on IH 95.
We continued on through Stamford, CT,
at Fairfield CT we stopped at a large fuel stop on the Connecticut Turnpike
We continued east across Connecticut and into Rhode Island on IH 95.
At Providence, RI we took a more direct route off the Interstate via US Hwy 44 through Taunton, MA and
arrived at the KOA Camp in Middleboro, MA at 4:10 PM. This became our headquarters where we stayed several days.
We settled in at site 248 and rested. An energetic thundershower began flashing and rumbling.
Our friends in nearby Bridgewater had invited us for supper, and when I moved to shut off the airconditioner
in the Rpod I found it already off. Our interior lights were still on. They run on 12 volt while the A/C unit
runs on the 110v we were plugged into. A peek out the door solved the situation. One very loud bolt of lightning
had taken out all electricity. As we drove the 10 milies to Bridgeport we noted that the electricity was down for some miles around Middleboro.
James, Pam and Paloma provided a tasty burrito supper, and then a tour of the Bridgewater State Univ. campus.
A lamp post on campus The Public Library - just off campus.
James is a professor, and Pam a librarian at the University.
Later we asked them about the wisdom of our plans.
They convinced us not to drive into Boston/Cambridge,
but rather take the MTBA rail system from Quincy Adams and save ourselves a lot of hassle.
By the time we headed back to camp in Middleboro electricity had been restored.
Joseph registered us for an official tour of M.I.T in the early afternoon the next day
and got a good night's sleep.
