This is a collection of H.W. Tilmans works, or at least the parts of them which were written about his adventures when sailing. Tilman (an Englishman) is perhaps more known for his rugged mountainclimbing adventures in remote places, such as Patagonia in S. America and remote islands in the far North of the North Atlantic.
Tilmans adventures do not always end well. He wrecked more than one of his boats when caught in extreme situations in very bad weather.
an interesting book for the hardened adventurer.
