Chesapeake. A Novel

In his usual style, Michener tells the history of the Chesapeake area from earliest per-history to 1976 and Nixon and Agnew. He does this, as with many of his novels by way of a number of little stories strung by a thread. There is a lot of small boating in this part of the world, and a lot of maritime history. This book covered some of that activity.
It is a fairly standard Michener book and a good read.
