declares that she did it but refuses to provide more detail. There are doubts.
A federal invesigator is primary on the case, with whom Bernie works, in good harmony.
Leaphorn is doing several things on the side and is trying to decide whether he should visitin Washington DC with his friend Louisa, who is delivering a paper there. A very good read.
