This is Anne Hillermans fourth mystery in the Bernedette Manuelito (Bernie) series. This series follows her fathers Jim Chee and Joe Leaphorn mysteries. Those characters continue but in Annes myseries Bernie is the principle.
This story involves an organization which assists troubled youth toward getting their lives straightened out and in that a camping trip partially gone wrong. The organization is accused of financial misdeeds by a local tribal elder, and there is a new local head of FBI involved. Theft from ancient native graves is also involved.
A realy good read from an already accomplished mystery writer. A page turner.
