Troop 583 Preparee (preparation for Camporee)

Venture Crew 583 camped overnight Friday - Sunday to assist some members of Troop 583
who came out on Saturday to hone their Scouting skills.

Friday night camp was set up in a nasty drizzle and a lot of mud.
Saturday started out overcast then went perfectly clear and beautiful.
Plant Identification, fire building, cooking, and first aid
were some of the practiced skills.
Then there was just the joy of being outdoors.

The Crew camped out Saturday night, and
Sunday morning found a layer of frost all around.
