Easter Vigil fire at Holy Spirit Parish Church

A Scout is Reverent

For several years Troop 583 has been the organization which created and cared for the Easter vigil fire,
at the Easter Vigil Service at Holy Spirit Parish.
This year the fire was scaled down due to the fact that this area has been very dry for months and wildfire danger is high.

The Crew assisted the Troop, fun and service for all. - The fire was built smaller than previous years.

Immediately after the need for the fire was over it was smothered, then the embers were thoroughly watered down.

There were baptisms,

and Confirmations,
which were part of the celebration, and were included in the Mass this evening.
