Troop 583 had a potluck supper on 1 August 2007 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Baden-Powells first experimental encampment on Brownsea Island on the south coast of England.
21 boys were divided into 4 patrols each named for an animal and given colored streamers as identifiers.
They were Curlews (yellow), Ravens (red), Wolves (blue) and Bulls (green).
This is considered the first Scout campout, and laid the framework for Scouting as we know it.
There were many celebrations of this centennary all across the world.
