We had a weekend at Laguna Station, which is a Boy Scout camp at the southern tip of South Padre Island. The intent was do do some boating, however the wind blew well beyond small craft warning all evening and into the morning. We got in some hiking on the beach and had a fishing trip in Laguna Madre instead. Some of us learned how to filet fish. We cooked and ate what we caught.
The encampment - wall tents, which flapped all night in the strong breeze.
The hike to the beach, then out swimming.
Later after supper, and dark, we hiked several miles down the beach and back.
We fished from the Osprey.
Cleaning the fish we caught.
