Spook Trail at Cub Adventure Weekend at Camp Perry - October 2011

I have no photos of this event, but do have some of the visit to Camp Perry on October 16,
when the trail route was planned.

Arrival at the practical end of the Camp Perry road.
There is a dry cleared patch - or meadow here.

The Northern primitive camp which overlooks the confluence of the Arroyo Colorado and the Little Arroyo.
This is the place where a generator is sometims positioned to provide electricity for lighted decorations along the Spook Trail.

narrow overgrown trail which will need considerable trimming
All the bushes have thorns and need trimming back so that Cub Scouts and parents
will not be torn up when walking it at night.

Examining the first part of the trail, where it cuts East for about 50 yards
This part is not very overgrown.

The open area where we plan to have static displays.
The narrow part of the trail arrives at this spot just to the right of the big Mesquite tree in the middle of this picture.
It is at the practical end of the Spook Trail.

Another view of the open area.

Finding a small plastic skull decoration hanging on a thorn bush.
Inadvertantly left from Spook Trails past.

northern part of Mesquite campsite
The berm defining the mudflats is the high area in the background.

Mesquite camp facilities.

Looking North on the camp road.
The beginning of the spook trail is just behind
