Films enjoyed - list by Date of Release

~~~ most of which I have seen, but not all ~~~
especially memoriable ones are marked x_
        I started this list as an experiment to see what films I remembered seeing
        to reveal what cultural influences the films I have seen might have made on me.
        The project soon got out of hand and this list of films seen has developed.
        Many of these were only remembered when I saw their titles on various lists
        which also described the content of the films.
        I do not think it is possible to remember all the films I have seen.
        A few of them have made a difference in my way of thinking and my life,
        most were temporary amusements.
