The Passenger Depot, on the north side of the tracks, just east of Fourth Street.
The Public School, taking in all of block 15, between Sixth and Seventh Streets, and Second and Third Avenues.
The Old Public School, taking in all of block 14, between Fifth and Sixth Streets, and Second and Third Avenues.
The Post Office, on the NE corner of Fourth Street and Second Avenue.
The Methodist Church, on the SW corner of Fifth Street and Second Avenue.
The Presbyterian Church, on the SW corner of Sixth Street and Second Avenue.
The McAllen Hotel, on the SW corner of Fourth Street and First Avenue.
St. Nicholas Hotel, on the SW corner of Third Street and Second Avenue.
A Packing Shed, on the NW corner of Third Street and Boulder Avenue.
An Ice Plant, on the NW corner of Second Street and Boulder Avenue.

The East - West avenues (listed from the North to the South) were named:

Oklahoma Avenue
Colorado Avenue
Michigan Avenue
Wisconsin Avenue
Missouri Avenue
Louisana Avenue
Texas Avenue
Boulder Avenue - followed the St. Louis, Brownsville and Mexico Railway -
First Avenue - followed the Railway on the southern side of the track - listed as county road
Second Avenue
Third Avenue
Fourth Avenue
Fifth Avenue
Sixth Avenue
Seventh Avenue
Eigth Avenue

The west edge of the town was bounded by the Main Canal of the Hidalgo Irrigation Company.
The streets were numbered from the first one inside the first blocks of lots to the east of that canal.
They were:

First Street
Second Street
Third Street
Fourth Street - ran between 2 areas of park land, just north of the railway.
Fifth Street
Sixth Street
Seventh Street
County Public Road - was the 8th street
