At 11am -2:30 pm
We will meet at Swift River Pecans
on Hwy 80 just a little south of where it intersects the new Austin-Seguin toll road (130).

This is a saw mill and kiln operation.
Swift River sells pecan, mesquite and other misc lumber.
Troy, the owner, has has done the Texas Water Safari and has an interest in wooden canoes.
While the lumber he is selling may not be suited to boat building,
the operation may still be of interest to our group.
Troy will show us the workings of his saw mill and discuss his trade.
He plans on slabbing a cypress log while we are there.
Everyone should bring their own camp chair and a sack lunch.
Here’s his website: www.swiftriverpecans.com/index.php/wood/pecan-lumber
